The point is to start a good discussion going on a topic started by the blogger. If the blogger has posted a great post then people will definitely start stating their opinions in the comment field. --Very true about having content that stands out as well. No one will visit a blog that has the same type of content as another blog that is more established. Bloggers should make their content unique to their blog, even if they are restating some sort of news.
